For those curious, "Prema" translates from Sanskrit to signify pure, ultimate love. This profound sentiment isn't merely reflected in our production of top-tier vanilla beans. Our approach is all-encompassing, focusing on agricultural self-sufficiency, bolstering local community well-being, and addressing the critical issue of reforestation in Madagascar. We take immense pride in our sustainable and ethical farming practices, which not only guarantee the quality of our product but also prioritize the welfare of our farmers.
Sustainability
Prema stands apart from conventional vanilla plantations. Our endeavors extend beyond vanilla cultivation, encompassing diverse activities like chicken farming, aquaculture, and rice husking. While these may seem less glamorous than nurturing vanilla beans, the byproduct of chicken farming provides a 100% organic and highly effective fertilizer for the previously infertile soil on our farm. Consequently, the indigenous flora's remnants also contribute to soil enrichment.
Regarding vanilla production itself, our local experts are adept at every stage, from cultivating plants and hand-pollination to harvesting, processing, and packaging. Through these meticulous steps, we bring forth an exquisite product that satisfies the considerable demand for our vanilla worldwide.
